YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE
The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and general accounting assistance to accountants as well as preparing statements that confirm the accuracy of database information.
IMPACT OUR BUSINESS BY
Provides accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
Prepares bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements.
Reconciles accounts promptly.
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in the database.
Assists, and supports to Treasury Accountant.
Prepares checks, deposits, budgets, and financial reports.
Updating ledgers, researching, and resolving discrepancies.
Research, track, and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
Other tasks and responsibilities are assigned due to business and operational needs.
Fulfill the responsibilities and obligations of the job, by the rules of the company.
Comply with the safety and health measures established by the company.
Refrain from engaging in improper, disorderly, criminal, or immoral conduct that reasonably may affect the best interests of the company.
Comply with the orders and instructions of the company in the regular exercise of its executive powers and managerial discretion.
Abstain from competing with the business activities of the company.
Contribute to increase the productivity and competitiveness of the company.
Satisfactorily fulfill with all those duties that derive from the contract of employment and with the rules and procedures established by the company.

Your Knowledge
Associate degree in business accounting.
Minimum six (6) months of experience in a related area.
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures.
Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
Experience with deposit reconciliation, account payable procedure, and journal entries.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like QuickBooks.
Knowledge of MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent knowledge of analytics tools and evaluation metrics.
Excellent communication skills including writing both in English and Spanish.
Excellent interpersonal relations skills.
