Western Milling is hiring: Accounting Clerk in Visalia

Overview:

This position is responsible for functions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, file maintenance, and other accounting related responsibilities.

This is a hybrid role working at least 2 days per week in our main office located in Visalia, CA.

The hourly range for this role is $20.50-23.00 / hr. The Company offers insurance coverage that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, a 401(k) with employer match, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing all records associated with invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Processing inventory receipts and associated payables
• Processing non ingredient payables
• Scanning and file maintenance
• Responding to billing inquiries in a timely manner.
• Processing Payment Runs
• Ensure payment deadlines are met each week.
• Assist with processing and invoicing shipments.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years data entry experience required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
• Great attitude, excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Must be self-motivated, capable of working independently and with others.
• Strong organization and research skills.
• Ability to multi- task. Strong follow-through and consistent ability to hold ones self accountable is required.

Physical Requirments:

• Must be able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day.
• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.

Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
• The employee will occasionally be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions.
• The employee may be exposed to chemicals used in the process.
