Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting
- Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entry review, and account reconciliations
- Coordinate with team members to reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements
- Refine and maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with financial regulations/policies
- Utilize ERP system to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency; ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial records
- Assist external auditors during annual audits, providing documentation and helping with audit inquiries
- Lead benefits audit from Company standpoint – manage various workflows and data requests to ensure timely completion
- Serve as a liaison between operations and the accounting function, helping operational leaders to understand expense variances and drive improvements
- Support Controller with cost accounting activities
- Participate in monthly physical inventory counts and ongoing inventory maintenance
- Co-manage AR function with Accounting Director to ensure timely collection of receipts
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support general business decision-making
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA certification
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting deadlines while prioritizing competing activities
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial insights to diverse stakeholders
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity in handling financial information

Compensation:
- Base compensation of $120-$135 thousand annually, dependent on relevant experience
