Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is highly preferred.
•Big 4 or National CPA firm experience is preferred.
•Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
•Integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding financial information.

A privately held construction firm is currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join their finance team. As the Accounting Manager, you will directly support the CFO in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis comparing actual results with budgeted/forecasted figures, identifying trends, and providing insights to management.
Support the Controller in preparing financial reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, such as investors, auditors, and tax authorities.
General Ledger and Accounts Management: Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Perform account reconciliations, including bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and balance sheet accounts.
Collaborate with the Controller to streamline the month-end close process, establishing efficient workflows and maintaining proper documentation.
Team Collaboration and Development: Actively support the Controller in training and mentoring junior members of the finance team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, project management, and operations, to ensure accurate financial information flow and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
Stay updated with industry trends, accounting regulations, and best practices to recommend process improvements and contribute to the department's overall growth.
