Duties include:- Process Accounts Payable invoices and check payment processing: responsible for matching purchase orders with vendor invoices, reviewing vendor invoices and check requests for accuracy, appropriate documentation, proper approval, posting period, and accurate general ledger coding.
- Data entry of vendor invoices into computer system, matching checks with invoices, preparing checks for signature, mailing checks and filing payment voucher packages.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and files, including 1099 details.
- Process requests received for the Resident Assistance and Employee Benevolence Funds.
- Assist in the preparation and collection of information related to financial audits and Medicare and Medicaid cost reports.
- High school diploma required, college courses in accounting preferred.
- Three of more years of accounting operations, Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping preferred.
- Two or more years of donor contribution record keeping a plus.
