The Accounting Manager oversees the accounting department’s operations with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting. Responsible for driving team performance.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, fixed assets, journal entries, daily transactions and banking.
  • Responsible for month, quarterly and year-end financial closings.
  • Assess current practices and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable experience, with 5 years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory work.
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • CPA certification required.
  • Working knowledge Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Experience using an ERP system, such as NetSuite.
  • Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
  • Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques, ability to communicate well with all levels of the company team and with staff at remote locations, ability to build effective working relationships within and outside of the company.
  • Excellent references and academic credentials.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon’s Beyond Global, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
