ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER
with 3-5 years of experience to join our studio located in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood. Studio TROIKA’s team of design professionals has built a broad portfolio of projects, including architecture; interiors; planning; graphic design and branding.Our interior designers and architects deliver full-spectrum designs of interior space, working from the initial concept through the final details. They don't just apply finishes; they focus on crafting a clear design story that works on every level. The most successful candidates can deliver design excellence, attention to detail, organization and time management skills, and potential to grow into leadership roles over time.Our collaborative studio environment and our cross-disciplinary work fosters an engaging design culture.Ideal candidates will possess the following:A Professional Degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited programProficiency with Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office3 - 5 years of design experienceExceptional design, communication and project coordination and/or management skillsExperience with the full design process from conceptual planning through construction documents and construction administrationAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamProfessional licensure or pending licensure is a plus.Project Types we work on - Sports and Wellness, Life-science, Workplace, Hospitality, Academic and Residential projectsWe are looking for Individuals with:Vision, creativity, and skillsCollaborative spirit – the idea of interdisciplinary teamwork gets you excitedPassion – you have a healthy dose of ambition for yourself, your team, the work (and the firm you’ll come to love)Proactive resourcefulness – you’re energetic and positive about solving problems and take initiative to find a way to ‘yes’Growth-orientation – you’re curious and want to find greater ways to impact the world around youCuriosity – we are always learning and would love for you to do the sameThe Role:Develop and coordinate detailed design concepts – from early design phases through coordination and detailing and develop project documentationPerform production functions: drafting, documentation, and model creationDevelop basic plans, elevations, renderings, square foot calculations, materials investigations and understanding where those fall within a projectWork through technical challenges and consultant coordination to implement design contentCommunicate and present design intent to team and clients, using a variety of representation and presentation techniquesLead, delegate, and critique work effectively; take ownership of aspects of projects and the design while collaborating with all members of the teamHow To Apply
