The Payroll & Accounting Professional helps with general accounting duties.
The Payroll & Accounting Professional will function primarily in all aspects of the Payroll function including, but not limited to:
- Processing Payroll on a bi-weekly basis and special payrolls as needed
- Reconciling and confirming benefits enrollment and terminations
- Monitoring for changes in deductions, pay, and any other payroll related items.
- Posting of payroll entries and monthly accruals
In addition to the Payroll responsibilities, the Payroll & Accounting Professional will record and maintain business transactions, safeguarding customer personal records and reporting and correcting any non-compliance. This position is expected to respond to and support departmental managers requesting additional information affecting their individual departments.
Role and Responsibilities
• Processes daily financial transactions
• Assists in daily operations of the accounting department
• General account reviews and correcting entries.
• Journal Entry posting
• Reconciliation of billing statements
• Superior communication, customer service, organizational and analytical skills
• Responsible for regular accounting related transactional activity, for accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks, meeting deadlines and commitments.
• Maintains a professional appearance, and work environment.
• Attends pertinent and mandatory company wide training.
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- General Bookkeeping or Public accounting experience - Preferred
- Payroll Experience - Preferred
- Automotive Accounting or Accounting Degree – Preferred
