Senior Manager, Fund Accounting Job at Abacus Group, LLC in Los Angeles

Our client is a leading global investment management firm. They seek a Senior Manager to join their Fund Accounting team in their Los Angeles, CA office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the books and records of pooled private investment funds
• Produce and review complex management fee and waterfall calculations
• Reconcile cash, investments, and other balance sheet accounts
• Record purchase and sale transactions and accounting for corporate actions
• Calculate and post accruals and prepare distributions and drawdowns
• Review of allocations of income and expense allocations to each partner
• Run and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assess performance metrics for partnerships/accounts and each investment
• Work with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 7+ years of fund accounting experience
• Public (Big 4) or combo background
• Funds experience required
• Organized with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• CPA strongly preferred
• Skilled in Geneva and Markitwire
