Accounting / HR Assistant Job at Cryomagnetics, Inc. in Oak Ridge

Cryomagnetics is seeking an Accounting / Human Resources Assistant to join our team! Under general supervision, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily accounting and human resources needs of the organization. These include, but are not limited to, processing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and assisting with benefits administration.

Responsibilities:

• Provide human resources support including payroll administration, reconciliation of employee time records, and benefits administration.
• Manage daily operations of accounting and bookkeeping functions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

• Basic understanding of standard accounting procedures and IRS regulations.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Superior attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in accounting, including accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Experience in human resources administration.
