2024 marks 100 years of business for this small engineering firm in Norcross, GA.  We are looking for an individual with the ability, attitude, and work ethic to handle multiple responsibilities while executing proficiency in business accounting. This position is part-time 2-3 days in office. 
General Responsibilities:

• Full Charge Bookkeeper using QuickBooks Desktop Accounting Software
  • Bill Of Materials (BOM) to construct assemblies
  • Purchase orders
  • Inventory receipts & packing lists
  • Inventory disbursements
  • Accounts payable entry
  • Banking transactions
  • Invoice generation
  • AP / AR payment generation, collections
  • Monthly financial statements
  • Weekly reports for CEO
  • Contract & proposal file management
• Provide professional customer and vendor interaction and support
  • Vendor purchase order and shipment follow-up
  • Accounts receivable and collections
• Assist engineering, operations, and sales departments as required
• Special projects as necessary
• Support day-to-day operations as required, including but not limited to:
  • Telephone support
  • Mail
  • Deposits
  • Shipping/receiving (infrequent)

Job Requirements (must have):

• Ability to multi-task & prioritize competing deadlines
• QuickBooks Desktop proficiency
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and QuickBooks
• Ability to function as part of a team
• Demonstrate and conduct a professional appearance at all times
