As the

Director of Enterprise PMO Portfolio & Agile Practice , you will spearhead the execution of a strategically aligned and complex project portfolio while leading the agile delivery practices within the organization. This role collaborates closely with senior IT leadership and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between business strategy and project delivery. You will be responsible for governance, risk management, quality, resource allocation, and value delivery across the portfolio. In addition to overseeing project and program managers, you will ensure the adoption and adherence to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices across the software engineering and quality engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management: Direct the execution and value delivery of the project portfolio, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and priorities across IT's supported verticals. Manage large-scale programs, ensuring they adhere to established methodologies, standards, and best practices, while providing oversight for project timelines and budgets. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and facilitate communication across departments, ensuring project governance through steering committees. Oversee the financial tracking of all programs, collaborating with the accounting group to reconcile ARs, SOWs, and capitalization of IT investments. Work directly with the Office of the CIO on overall portfolio management. Agile Leadership: Champion the creation and execution of software development and quality engineering operating models, ensuring adherence to SAFe agile practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Define and continuously refine the measurement systems for agile delivery, driving quality improvements in the PMO and agile development processes. People Leadership: Foster a high-performance culture by motivating and coaching team members, providing opportunities for career development through assignments and training. Lead PMO and agile practice teams in building their skills across tools, techniques, and interpersonal communications. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, driving efficiency and excellence in program execution. Technology & Continuous Improvement: Define and select best-of-breed software solutions for portfolio and project management, ensuring full integration to track project-related activities, costs, timelines, and budgets. Stay current on industry best practices, incorporating them to ensure that processes remain modern, efficient, and best-in-class. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or Software Engineering. A master’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience. Certifications: CSM, SAFe, PMP, PfMP, Green Belt/Black Belt in Lean methodologies. 10+ years of experience in portfolio, program, and project management with 5+ years of leadership experience. Proven expertise in software development, software engineering, and quality engineering practices. Strong ability to navigate complex challenges, mitigating risks and responding effectively in dynamic environments. Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and a natural leader with a high level of emotional intelligence. Willingness to travel and work at required locations, with full attendance as an essential function of the role.
