Position Summary

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking a motivated individual to act as an Accounting Associate who will oversee our Milwaukee and Madison billing operations. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for creating and sending invoices. They should also be able to handle customer concerns and follow-up on any issues related to the billing process. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions

• Working closely with the sales team on lease administration and insurance
• Processing customer invoices
• Identifying discrepancies in billing data
• Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate with other departments to resolve issues
• Strong understanding of Contract/Purchase Order terms
• Answer incoming telephone calls and provide excellent customer service
• Experience in the construction industry helpful
• Assist accounting department in other projects as needed
• Other duties as assigned 

Skills and Experience Requirements

• A degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, or Management),  or equivalent work experience in accounting / finance field is preferred 
• Strong analytical skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
