Salary:
The Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) specialist is responsible for organizing client information, responding to and anticipating client service requests so we can better service our clients, and continuing to provide the high-quality work that we are known for. Specialists will work both internally with our accountants and externally with clients and will be given the responsibility to learn the cadence and expectations of the service level we need to provide.
The primary responsibilities of the CAAS Specialist are:
- Entry of accounting transactions including: vendor bills, customer invoices, bill payments, customer payments, deposits, journal entries, other disbursements, etc.
- Maintaining complete and up-to-date accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts, trial balance, and financial statements.
- Processing payroll using ADP Run and/or making the necessary entries to record payroll processed by a third-party.
- Prepare weekly, quarterly, and/or annual financial report packages for distribution to clients.
- Actively learn on the job through exposure to new tasks, team training, and professional education.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- One or more years of client service, accounting, financial or law industry experience preferred.
- Minimum of an associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Immediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Outlook, Word, and Excel) and QuickBooks.
- Demonstrate ability to learn and work with various software programs with relative ease.
- Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities and changing priorities.
- Ability to analyze situations critically and objectively to produce the best possible outcome.
- Professionally represent the firm by promptly and accurately meeting the service needs of clients and other employees.
- Discretion when handling confidential information.
