Job Summary:   We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hyundai and Genesis dealerships’ business office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient office functions, managing accounting records, and supporting dealership staff in delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills, multitasking ability, and a deep understanding of automotive dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Hire, train and supervise dealership office personnel.
  • Prepare and process payroll.
  • Provide administrative support for HR functions such as employee on boarding, and record-keeping. 
  • Perform weekly schedule reviews and work with office staff to maintain them.
  • Supervise all daily processes of the accounting office. 
  • Oversee the titling and registration process for sold vehicles. 
  • Ensure all daily bank transactions are posted to the ledger.  
  • Manage the dealership’s vehicle floor plan account. 
  • Work with department managers to improve dealership processes, ensuring that company policies and internal control measures are being followed. 
  • Assist in the timely completion of the month-end close.
  • Assist with customer inquiries, resolving any administrative-related issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications:    

  • Experience in the automotive industry is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including accounting and payroll. 
  • Proficient with dealership management software (Dealertrack is preferred). 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast- paced environment.
