A premier real estate conglomerate is seeking a hands-on and motivated Senior Associate, Accounting to join their corporate team! With a significant portfolio, the ideal Senior Associate must be comfortable in a growing and dynamic corporate team, curating a scalable environment through system migration, integration and streamlining. Reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Senior Associate is a strategic hire as they look to expand the team, enhancing both the caliber and excellence of each individual team member. The ideal Senior Associate must have 3-4 years of recent or previous public accounting experience, and ideally have embraced a progressive environment with respect to optimization and automation. Responsibilities:

- Hands on traditional corporate accounting functions, as well as ad hoc projects across business and department

- Month end close preparations and finalization for multiple properties in portfolio

- P&L preparation and analysis for portfolio, as well as business analysis for broader accounting group

- Streamline and standardize internal processes and controls

- Enhance and streamline reporting initiatives

Requirements:

- 3-4 years of public accounting (Big 4 or Top 10 preferred)

- Previous system automation, streamlining and enhancements

- CPA or CPA eligibility preferred

- Previous experience with real estate investment, hospitality, or related fields
