Position Summary:

The Director of Accounting position is responsible for the accounting systems and operations, analysis and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Review data, journal entries, and reports to produce financial statements.
• Prepare budgets for all departments.
• Provide reporting to outside agencies.
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely reporting.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in accounting or finance required.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
• 3+ years of related work experience required, including management experience.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Intermediate proficiency with computers is required; must have experience with Office products and accounting software.
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills.
