Job Description

& We’re seeking a skilled Accounting Operations Manager to lead and mentor our accounting team, oversee financial processes, and drive continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do:

Oversee day-to-day accounting processes, focusing on bank reconciliations and transactions
Ensure accuracy and maintenance of financial reporting and compliance with SOX controls and external audit requirements
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operating efficiency, internal controls, and team performance
Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to a team of 6-8 accounting professionals
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial strategies and support business performance
Prepare or delegate ad hoc financial analyses and ensure accurate processing, recording, and reporting of financial data
Drive team engagement, cultivate a positive culture, and serve as a consultant on processes with financial implications

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
3-5 years of managerial experience leading a team of 6-8 in a large corporate environment (finance or accounting preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
Strong leadership skills in coaching, mentoring, and team development
Solid experience with bank reconciliations, transaction management, and process improvement
Familiarity with Oracle accounting systems and the insurance industry is a plus, along with global experience
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple locations
