JOB DESCRIPTION
LumaCyte is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial management and inventory control, with a strong understanding of GAAP accounting procedures and proficiency in Netsuite. Manufacturing and cost accounting experience necessary. This role will report directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Manage all financial operations, including general ledger journal entries, account reconciliation, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and day-to-day record keeping.
· Prepare monthly financial statements, annual budgets, and forecasts.
· Perform gross margin and expense analysis.
· Work with external firms and assist with financial and tax audits.
· Work with manufacturing department to manage purchasing and inventory.
Skills & Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
· 5+ years accounting experience.
· Thorough understanding and knowledge of GAAP accounting and procedures.
· Proficiency in Netsuite, specifically with experience in inventory management.
· Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Proven self-starter, good interpersonal and time management skills, and ability to work in a team environment.
