We are excited to partner with an wonderful non-profit organization in San Francisco to help them find an innovative and disciplined Accounting Manager to join their mission-driven team!

Hybrid schedule in San Francisco (2 days/week onsite)

Salary - $100,000 to $130,000

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor all cash and investments accounts
  • Manage and monitor all regulatory filings and licensing requirements (lending, fundraising, business, etc.).
  • Manage General Accounting - Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Payroll, and T&E expense reporting, and other accounting processes, as required.
  • Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the life cycle of procurement contracts (contract requests, contract creation, follow-up, close-out, etc.) and grant distribution agreements.
  • Manage annual external audit and A-133 audit, if applicable and act as the primary liaison to our external auditor.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or ~4-6 years of relevant experience and knowledge
  • 7 years of accounting experience, and at least 3 years of senior accounting experience
  • Advanced skills with Excel, and strong competency with the Microsoft suite of products
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience is preferred
  • Non-profit experience and a desire to work for a mission-driven non-profit is preferred
  • Experience supervising and coaching others on projects
  • Able to confidently write and present executive summaries to senior audiences on complicated topics.
