Accounting Bookkeeper Job at Clarity Bookkeeping in Langley

We are looking for an Bookkeeper to join our team! 

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team
• Ability to work on multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
• The ability to use various financial transactions such as accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Recording incoming and outgoing company transactions and posting them to various accounts
• Processing payments
• Conducting daily banking activities
• Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
• Working with an accountant when necessary.
• Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements
• Build and maintain company budgets and projections on multiple projects
• track and communicate company profit margins

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Great interpersonal skills that enable the Bookkeeper to clearly and effectively communicate with other employees
• Experienced with building company budgets, profit margins and projections
• Highly motivated
• Experienced with Quickbooks Online
• experience with running payroll (Payworks)
• Strong data entry skills
• Familiarity with all principles of accounting
• Full knowledge of BC/Canada tax laws and regulations
• A strong understanding of math and numbers
• The ability to communicate complex financial data with other members
• Knowledge of bookkeeping software.
