Job Description

The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports, recording and reconciling transactions and overall administrative support for the accounting department in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Send timecards biweekly to temporary staff and clients via DocuSign.
  • Follow up with temporary staff and clients and accumulate timecards.
  • Manage client information databases.
  • Enter information from timecards into the Company’s systems for invoice and payroll processing.
  • Assist in the preparation and emailing of invoices biweekly to clients.
  • Follow up on past due invoices.
  • Assist in the preparation of biweekly payroll for temporary staff.
  • Update and code credit card charges in accounting software.
  • Coordinate with travel department on credit card receipts and charges.
  • Interact with Controller, CFO, customers, and vendors.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting systems.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
Travel:
  • No travel required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
