Responsibilities
As the Accounting Manager, you will support the broader North America Lottery Accounting organization with daily accounting and operations and work closely with the North America Lottery Controller to provide guidance to business partners as needed. Other responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations (including general accounting, revenue recognition, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting)
- Execute key control activities within the team's scope
- Ensure that transactions are recorded in compliance with company policies and US GAAP and IFRS
- Support monthly balance sheet and income statement analysis for reporting to management
- Support the Company's Corporate Financial Reporting group by preparing quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures under both US GAAP and IFRS
- Streamline and continuously improve processes and internal controls
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing required documentation and responding to audit queries
- Ad hoc reporting and projects as needed, supporting the North America Lottery Controller
- Collaborate with and support other members of the broader North America Lottery accounting team as needed
- Potential for role expansion in the future, including but not limited to managing a staff of accounting professionals, including developing and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as the department expands to meet business needs
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional units and levels within the organization
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience with ASC 606 and ASC 842 accounting concepts highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills enabling simultaneous management of multiple projects
- Highly motivated, results-oriented with ability to take initiative in a diverse organization
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, including 3+ years in public accounting
- CPA certification desirable
- Bachelor's degree; Masters desirable

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
