Chef Robotics is on a mission to accelerate the advent of intelligent machines in the physical world. As the rise of LLMs like ChatGPT has shown, AI has the potential to drive immense change. Our goal is to tackle food production, with a goal to put an intelligent robot in every commercial kitchen in the world. We’ve signed multi-year contracts with several large food production and packaging companies and we're backed by investors like Kleiner Perkins, Construct, Bloomberg BETA and Promus Ventures. Our team is smart and super accomplished; you’ll work and learn with engineers and leaders from companies like Cruise, Zoox, Google, Verb Surgical, Tesla, Nuro, Vicarious, Amazon Robotics, Strateos, Built Robotics, Facebook, Plenty, Yelp, and Microsoft. Chef is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee our day-to-day finance and accounting operations. In this role, you’ll work closely with our controller on financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and accounts payable/accounts receivable. This is a critical role in supporting our growth. Please note that this is a part time position with the possibility of growth toward a full-time position. Responsibilities Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Work with the Controller to develop, manage, and monitor the company’s budget; provide financial forecasts to support decision-making and long-term planning Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure the company can meet its financial obligations Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes; ensure timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments Develop and maintain strong internal controls; manage internal and external audits Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards; identify and mitigate financial risks Implement and manage accounting software and tools; ensure data integrity and security Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting Experience in a tech startup environment is a plus Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and financial modeling tools Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
