Responsibilities:
• Gathers and documents business requirements related to payroll and business activities
• Analyzes and evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, test plans, test scripts and test results
• Assists with developing and performing the testing related to the payroll system and downstream systems
• Represents the department in meetings and through written and verbal communication with internal and external customers
• Assists in identifying and documenting internal controls in support of auditing team
• Some travel required, as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related business field and/or equivalent experience/training, including payroll and payroll processes
Preferred Qualifications:
• At least 3-5 years Payroll, Finance or Accounting experience
• Experience with in-depth business systems analysis, functional design, documentation, and process modeling
• Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
• Experience with SAP a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Experience with system design and implementation
Job Title: Payroll Analyst, Accounting Automation 10198
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Contract, 60% on-site
Duration: 6 months
Description:
- This job is a member of the Payroll Automation Team within the Finance Division.
- Responsible for gathering business requirements, testing, implementation and documentation of payroll and business processes and related interfaces impacting the payroll systems and the general ledger.
- 6 month contract position with no potential to convert at this time. No H1B candidates.
- 60% on-site. Interviews will be virtual.
- Will be heavily using SAP (HEC) application.

- CA sick- flight SAP payroll experience is a hard requirement. Attention to detail is a must. Good background in regression testing, implementation experience, and/or UAT testing is preferred. Interviews will be virtual (30min-1 hr)
