Job Description

We are a family owned and operated business in Medina, OH that is seeking a highly organized and efficient accounting clerk. Hours are 8:30am -5:00pm Monday -Friday.

Qualifications:

· Solid understanding of bookkeeping practices and accounting

· Organized and Detail oriented

· Knowledge in Excel, Outlook and accounting software

· Ability to process documents in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.

Responsibilities: The position includes but is not limited to:

Accounts Payable

· Enter invoices in system

· Follow up with purchaser to resolve issues

· Prepare check runs

· File payables documents

· Auditing freight bills

*File paid invoices

Accounts Receivable

* Open mail and prepare checks for deposit

· Send invoices to customer

· Post cash receipts

· Follow up with customers on unpaid invoices

· Place collection calls and emails

· Research and resolve billing issues
