Lakeshore Talent is hiring: Accounting Technician in Denver

Lakeshore Talent is seeking an Accounting Technician to join the Accounts Payable team at a leading oil & gas company located in downtown Denver, CO. This is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend, offering a competitive pay rate of $27.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Location: Downtown Denver
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Sustain day-to-day Accounts Payable duties while handling accounting data in a professional and confidential manner.
• Review, validate, and route invoices to ensure timely approval and payment processing.
• Perform daily tasks with a high degree of accuracy to prevent exceptions and duplicate payments.
• Prioritize responsibilities to provide effective and efficient AP services.
• Respond professionally to internal and external inquiries via the ServiceNow ticketing system, email, or phone.
• Handle sensitive and confidential financial documents with discretion.

Experience & Skills:

• 5-10 years of professional experience, ideally within the oil & gas industry.
• Previous Accounts Payable experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of D365 system and ADP OpenInvoice is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing procedures and work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong interpersonal communication and a collaborative mindset.

Software Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with ADP OpenInvoice and D365 system is preferred.
