A.R. Mazzotta is seeking an Accounting Assistant for a part-time role in the Seymour area. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience, sharpen their skills, and build their resume in the accounting field.
$20 - $22 per hour, temporary with the potential of hire.
As an Accounting Assistant, you will provide essential support to the Controller and the office including:
- Entering accounting data into the system.
- Preparing and organizing documentation.
- Answering phones when needed.
- Assisting with general administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to learn new computer programs.
- A knack for numbers and basic understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn!
- General familiarity with office equipment and practices.
- Basic administrative skills.
