CORE Advisory Partners LLC (“CORE”) and its affiliate Sahara Investment Group LLC (“Sahara”) have three business verticals:
- CORE acts as an outsourced CFO and Portfolio Management team for several best of breed mid-sized family offices and real estate development / investment companies
- Additionally, CORE raises capital for real estate projects ranging from opportunistic ground up construction to the upstream refinancing and recapitalization of stabilized assets.
- Sahara Investment Group manages two private equity funds, focusing on real estate debt financing primarily in Nevada.
Opportunity:
CORE is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Manager to oversee our financial management operations for family office clients. This role offers a unique chance to work with sophisticated financial professionals and contribute to the strategic direction of our family office services.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, proactive individual with a deep understanding of family office accounting and management. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a demanding workload while working collaboratively with senior staff and clients. This position requires a strong cultural fit and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the management of CORE’s Family Office platforms. You will work closely with senior management and clients to ensure financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions related to family office clients, including accounting, bookkeeping, accounts receivable (AR), and accounts payable (AP).
- Handle sensitive family office materials and ensure secure management and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic financial plans for family office clients.
- Collect, organize, and manage confidential company information and documentation.
- Oversee the financial reporting and financial close process.
- Prepare and review financial statements.
- Daily monitoring of client cash accounts
- Tracking and maintaining detailed information related to all client assets (cash, investments, business interests, real estate, physical assets, etc.).
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
- Perform daily financial administrative tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Facilitate the delivery and collection of sensitive documents and payments.
- Execute other ad hoc duties as required to support business operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, with a focus on family office clients or similar high-net-worth individuals.
- Proven experience in managing family office accounting or similar financial management roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, especially Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage 100.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a positive attitude and a desire to grow professionally.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and function within a small team environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, strong work ethic, and a commitment to confidentiality.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
