-Oversee and handle day-to-day operations of the accounting department including but not limited to:

-Oversee offshore bookkeeping team for efficient Accounts Payable (AP) operations, including matching of invoices to purchase orders, integrity of general ledger coding, bill approval flows, monitoring of invoices, and vendor statement reconciliations.

-Maintain accurate vendor certificates of insurance and tenant insurance coverages.

-Manage day-to-day Accounts Receivable processes from sales order entry through to cash payment.

-Maintain dashboard management reporting

-Handle Positive Pay processing with the bank accurately and review exceptions.

-Reconciliation of bank accounts and monitoring of cash vault services.

-Monitor bank activities and ensure accurate posting of deposits and receipts including remote deposit scans.

-Maintain accurate payment and billing processing within the Finance Department.

-Handle ACH wires, check payments, and stop payments.

-Oversee vendor account standings and maintain good credit standings.

-Reconcile vendor statements.

-Prepare reports and spreadsheets for management.

-Draft Standard Operating Procedures and have a mindset to continually automate and improve processes.

-Assist with monthly closings, preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

-Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records.

-Manage the general ledger and ensure proper coding of transactions

-Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support decision-making processes

-Assist with the maintenance of accounting systems including the implementation of a new ERP system.

-Monitor and enforce compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

-Provide guidance and training to accounting and operating staff

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience

-Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar roll

-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

-Proficiency in financial management software

-Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

-Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work

-Strong organizational and time management skills

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


-Netsuite experience is a plus

-Google Docs and Google Sheets proficiency a plus
