Virtual is hiring: Interim Accounting Director - Government Contracting in Phoen

Vaco has partnered with a publicly traded company that is searching for an Interim Director of Accounting/Controller to oversee their accounting & finance operations within their government contracting division. This role requires extensive government contracting/defense industry experience. This is a remote role and will have opportunity for permanent hire at the end of the contract period.

Position Title: Interim Director of Accounting/Controller
Target Start Date: ASAP
Location: Remote
Project Length: 3-6 months+ OR Contract to Hire

Requirements for the position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related area of focus
• Advanced education highly desired
• Extensive knowledge of government contracting compliance standards including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)  Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)
• Ability to commit to duration of project
