Job DescriptionRole Purpose:
The Sr. Analyst, Corporate Finance & Accounting, will be part of the Corporate Close & Consolidation team contributing to the overall Company’s global consolidation and elimination process. This individual will be responsible for various consolidation processes, elimination entries, analyses to ensure proper accounting, close partnerships with divisions and assisting with the escheatment process. The position will report to the Senior Director, Corporate Finance & Accounting, while also supporting the Managers on the team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly close & consolidation process, including elimination entries.
- Partner closely with business units to resolve various monthly edit checks to ensure proper accounting is followed.
- Assist with the escheatment process, including reissue requests, annual state filings, monthly accrual, etc.
- Support other areas within the team such as intercompany relationships (with Comcast Corporate, Comcast Cable, and Sky) and Company-wide intracompany content licensing.
- Perform monthly/quarterly analyses and validations to ensure transactions are recorded properly.
- Review divisional and corporate accounting processes to ensure overall standardized guidelines are followed and areas of efficiencies are identified.
- Perform and review account reconciliations.
- Document existing processes and explore opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
- Partner with external/internal auditors to support quarterly and yearly financial and internal control audits.
- Contribute to special projects as needed.
- Assist in overseeing the Accenture team for Business Process Outsourcing Services.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of accounting-related experience.
- Exceptional Excel skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification.
- Knowledge of SAP / AOE preferred.

HYBRID: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
