Job Description

A supply company is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting functions, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting accounting processes, and ensuring smooth operations across the department. This is a part-time position and you will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices, payments, and receipts and ensure timely and accurate entry of financial data into accounting systems
Regularly reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records
Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, account analysis, and budgeting assistance
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to manage accounts payable and receivable and ensuring timely payments and collections
Ensure that all financial documents, records, and files and maintained in an orderly and accessible manner in compliance with company policies
Provide necessary documents and support during internal and external audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and resolve any financial discrepancies
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Must have 1 to 2 years proven experience in an accounting or finance role
Must have solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Must be computer literate with accurate data entry skills
Must have excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
Must be able to pay a high attention to detail while working effectively with cross-functional teams
Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
