Ardmore Roderick is seeking an Executive Assistant in Chicago, Illinois. The Executive Assistant is responsible for various administrative functions in the support of Executive level employees including visitor reception, calendar management, producing and editing communications, managing travel arrangements, supporting expense reporting, and other tasks as needed to support office operations. Typical Functions: Manage Executive Calendars Complete and Manage Expense reports Day to day administrative support: organize files, prepare documents, schedule appointments, and support staff. Manage booking business travel reservations. Ability to create and edit professional PowerPoint presentations. Proficiency with MS Word and PowerPoint a must. Ability to proofread and assist with the editing and finalizing outgoing materials and proposals. Assist with writing, organizing, and maintaining project fact sheets, staff resumes, and active project spreadsheets for ongoing use. Assist with the planning and setup for various company events. Maintain polite and professional communication. Monitoring office supplies. Other office support responsibilities, as assigned. Typical Knowledge & Skills: Team player with good Interpersonal communication skills Detail oriented, positive, can-do attitude Ability to organize and prioritize tasks Experience working in Microsoft Excel a plus Experience working with timekeeping systems is a plus Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous deadlines Knowledge or experience in the design and construction industry a plus Associates or bachelor’s degree is preferred High School or Equivalent Diploma is required 5+ years of experience in an Administrative or Executive Assistant role We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the job requirements.
