Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Executive Assistant to support the CEO in driving Lyrik’s Institution forward. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is a skilled multitasker, and has the ability to anticipate needs and independently find solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with minimal supervision and adept at managing a variety of tasks to support an executive dedicated to impactful, community-centered work.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to the CEO, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
Project Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and outcomes align with organizational goals.
Communication: Draft, review, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing events such as fundraisers, board meetings, community outreach programs, and donor events.
Relationship Management: Liaise with stakeholders, including board members, donors, community partners, and other key contacts.
Problem Solving: Take initiative in addressing challenges by finding solutions and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Logistical Support: Manage travel arrangements and itineraries for the CEO, including flights, accommodations, and local transportation.
Data and Record Keeping: Maintain files, records, and databases related to organizational projects and operations.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as an executive assistant or in a similar role, preferably in a nonprofit or fast-paced startup environment.
Proactive Problem Solver: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, think critically, and independently resolve challenges.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks effectively.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).
Adaptability: Comfortable with shifting priorities and new tasks; can operate effectively in a dynamic, evolving work environment.
High Discretion: Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
Cultural Competency: Ability to work with diverse communities and uphold the mission and values of Lyrik’s Institution.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience supporting a CEO or executive in a nonprofit organization.
Familiarity with community programs and social initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
