UB Greensfelder currently has an opening in our Cleveland office for an Executive Assistant to the Practice Group Leader of the Long Term Health Care Group, who will perform a blend of high level administrative and legal support tasks.

The Executive Assistant will be the Group Leader's "right-hand person" enabling the Group Leader to advance Group initiatives and goals. The Executive Assistant will assist the Group Leader with crucial day-to-day tasks allowing the Group Leader to focus more on complex legal matters, client development and leadership functions.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Keep Group Leader's calendar and in-box organized.
  • Manage scheduling for the Group Leader.
  • Prioritize and respond to email communications received by the Group Leader.
  • Draft, review and send communications on behalf of the Group Leader.
  • Track progress on various matters and manage information flow within the Group.
  • Work closely with the Accounting Department on billing matters and keep up-to-date records on billed, paid and outstanding client invoices so that the Group Leader can communicate clearly with clients on billing matters and address any issues.
  • Organize and prepare for meetings.
  • Learn about the Long Term Care industry to better assist the Group Leader as well as client preferences.
  • Producing, editing and proofreading various legal documents and correspondence.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Superior time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to keep others organized.
  • Interpersonal skills; ability to work with all levels of staff, associates, partners and clients.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe, required.
