Shodair is looking to add an Executive Assistant to our Foundation department. The Foundation Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the President of the Foundation, ensuring seamless communication, organization, and operational efficiency. This role will manage the President’s calendar, oversee correspondence, and handle data-related tasks. The Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in stewardship activities, prospect research, and board management.


The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Can communicate effectively through written and verbal avenues.
  • Is organized and can coordinate, schedule and manage logistics of the Foundation Department and Foundation Board.
  • Can work independently and make decisions autonomously.

Requirements:

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE;

  • Required - Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communication or a related field; or 5 of proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a foundation or non-profit.
  • Preferred - Proven experience with prospect research and fundraising strategies and management systems.
  • Familiarity with board governance and management strongly preferred.
