About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director & Assistant Treasurer to join their global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's global banking structure, including international bank accounts, cash positioning, and forecasting. This role involves overseeing the capital structures of subsidiaries, assisting with investment and financing decisions in foreign markets, and managing international bank relationships. The Executive Director will also support the management of the company's global foreign exchange exposures, assist in capital markets transactions, and ensure compliance with worldwide debt and reporting requirements. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in treasury, with a strong preference for those with a background in multinational, public companies, and international treasury operations. The position requires a proactive, results-focused individual with excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. A methodical thinker with the ability to provide timely recommendations and a creative problem solver who can think outside the box will be well-suited to this demanding yet rewarding role. The Executive Director will also be expected to have an MBA, with a good understanding of accounting and international tax, and be familiar with financial tools such as Bloomberg. The ideal candidate will be a high achiever with a proven track record of delivering on commitments and will be responsible for a wide range of treasury activities, including managing SOX, SOP, and treasury policies to ensure compliance. The role is pivotal in the company's mission to continue leading the advancement of eye health, and the successful applicant will play a key part in strategic initiatives to optimize operational efficiencies. The Executive Director will serve as a liaison between the company and financial institutions, provide detailed analytical support for financial reporting, and be involved in special projects as required.
