Dynasty Financial Partners, LLC, Saint Petersburg, FL, US

Job Description

Job Description
Description:

Dynasty Financial Partners is seeking an individual to join the firm as an Executive in Residence on the Relationship Management Team. The role of the Executive in Residence is to be a coach to senior executives across the Dynasty Network. Typically these candidates are past/current CEOs.

The Executive in Residence (EIR) will bring a wealth of experience from their tenure as a CEO in the wealth management industry to mentor, coach, and guide current CEOs of wealth management firms. The EIR will leverage their extensive knowledge, strategic vision, and leadership skills to support our clients in navigating complex challenges, driving business growth, and achieving organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Executive Coaching and Mentorship:

  • Provide one-on-one coaching to CEOs and senior executives of wealth management firms.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs and workshops.
  • Offer strategic advice and insights on industry trends, best practices, and effective management techniques.

Strategic Advisory:

  • Assist client CEOs in developing and implementing strategic plans.
  • Offer guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Provide expertise on organizational restructuring, operational efficiency, and market expansion.

Thought Leadership:

  • Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and forums.
  • Contribute to white papers, articles, and other publications on wealth management and executive leadership.
  • Host webinars, podcasts, and other media engagements to share insights and industry knowledge.

Client Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client CEOs and executive teams.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and address any challenges or opportunities within client organizations

Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the internal team to align coaching and advisory services with overall company objectives.
  • Share feedback and insights to help refine and enhance service offerings.
  • Participate in internal strategy sessions and contribute to business development efforts.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a CEO or senior executive in a wealth management firm.
  • Extensive knowledge of the wealth management industry, including market trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business development, and organizational leadership.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and develop other leaders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Structure of Role:

  • Team structure:
  • The EIR role is a complimentary layer to the Relationship Management team at Dynasty. Typically the EIR will partner with an RM or RM Team that is managing the day-0to-day project management of the client relationship. The goal of the EIR is to build a close strategic relationship with the senior leaders of the client organization.
  • The EIR would report into the Head of the Relationship Management Team and Chief Client Officer. They would work with those individuals to identify where they were needed across the Dynasty Network.
  • Expectation of Time Spent
  • We fully appreciate that somebody who might be attracted to this role has perhaps already sold a business and is now involved in multiple projects in their post-CEO life. Hence, we do not require this role to be full time, but we are looking for someone who can be a long term member of our team. We would expect the EIR to be involved in perhaps 3-4 client calls per week and 3-4 client site visits per month.
  • Location and Travel
  • This role does not have to be based in St. Petersburg, Florida, but any candidate in that region would definitely be a plus. We believe in building relationships through in-person meetings, so travel to client sites would be required.
