About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead the implementation of policies and business models that drive scalable affordable housing solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the strategic goal of the organization, which is to promote housing as a critical foundation for better livelihoods. This role requires a leader with a Christ-centered approach, demonstrated organizational and management skills, and the ability to foster effective relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and the community. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fundraising, problem-solving, and ensuring the clear communication of the organization's mission. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company must have a BA or BS degree, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 5 years' experience in non-profit or relevant management. Essential skills include the ability to create a long-term vision, synthesize information, and lead with sound judgment. Knowledge of mortgage procedures, the house construction process, and fundraising principles is also required. The role demands a leader who is a good listener, a team builder, and who can effectively manage complex projects while meeting deadlines. The Executive Director will be expected to model the core values of the organization, ensure compliance with policies, and actively contribute to the diversity, equity, and inclusion commitments of the organization.
