About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its regional operations with a strong focus on the mission to cure blood cancers and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving regional growth, executing business strategy, and ensuring the integration of mission and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into all aspects of the organization. This role requires a leader with a proven track record in financial oversight, operations management, and employee and volunteer leadership. The Executive Director will serve as the organizational spokesperson, lead strategic planning, and be accountable for the overall revenue and P&L for the designated markets. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree (preferred) and at least 10 years of related experience, with a minimum of 3 years in senior management. The role demands a leader with a strong background in digital, social media, and emerging online channels, as well as a deep commitment to the mission of the organization. The Executive Director will be expected to lead a team, manage the employee lifecycle, and work closely with local volunteer leaders and the Region Board(s). The position is pivotal in fostering a culture of inclusivity and equity, and the ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and manage staff and volunteers to achieve strategic goals.
