About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of ending domestic violence and supporting survivors. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and empathic leader with a deep passion for the organization's work. Responsibilities include strategic planning, fundraising, financial oversight, and fostering a people-centric organizational culture. The Executive Director will also serve as the principal spokesperson, engaging in community outreach, and advocating for policies that support survivors and promote systemic change. Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a minimum of 7-10 years of leadership experience, a proven track record in fundraising, and a background in domestic violence, social services, or a related field. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for an advanced degree or relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and maintaining relationships, possess strong communication skills, and have a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. People-centric leadership, a values-centered orientation, and a willingness to receive feedback are essential. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, manage a dedicated team, and ensure the organization's compliance with legal and ethical standards.
