About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead the advancement of health and wellness coaching. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader, responsible for the comprehensive administration, programs, and operations of the organization. This role involves guiding the organization's growth and development, ensuring adherence to its mission and vision, and driving forward strategic objectives. The Executive Director will also be the external face of the organization, overseeing marketing, and communications, and engaging with stakeholders to promote the profession of health and wellness coaching. Applicants must have at least 15 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in senior leadership, and a strong understanding of best practices in nonprofit management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have deep professional experience in the health and wellness sectors, proven experience in scaling teams or programs, and excellence in organizational and people management. Strong strategic thinking, communication, and marketing skills are essential, as is a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, lead a team of full-time staff, and be accountable for the organization's $2M budget.
