Your new company:
A 50+ year, 3rd generation general contractor based in the Raleigh / Durham area hiring for a Project Executive to lead a pipeline of construction projects in the Triangle. Looking to connect with experienced Senior Project Managers or Executives with 10+ years of commercial construction experience. Base Salary in the range of $165k with an attractive bonus plan, generous vehicle allowance and thorough benefits on offer.
Your new role:
Project Executive position to oversee renovation and addition construction projects within the Triangle area. Projects will be mixed commercial ranging from historic renovations, mixed use, educational, and institutional up to $50M range. Typically, you will be providing project oversight to multiple projects at any given time ranging from those in preconstruction to active construction.
You will take ownership and lead the core Project Management functions for your assigned projects, with daily responsibilities including client engagement, overseeing scheduling and risk management, forecasting and P&L analysis, as well as supporting with preconstruction and wider business strategy. You will have the responsibility to lead a team consisting of a PM’s, PE’s, and field management.
In addition to leading projects as the Project Executive, you will be engaging with the C-Suite on company strategy, business development and change management.
What you'll need to succeed:
- 10-15 years' experience in commercial construction in a current role of a Senior Project Manager / Project Executive for a commercial general contractor.
- Ability to deliver new construction projects and renovations/additions up to $50M
- Experienced, driven leader, well-versed in managing a team including Project Engineers, Project Managers and field management personnel.
- Comfortable working in the Triangle area
- Passionate about mentoring future construction professionals
