About the Role

The Company is in search of a full-time Executive Director to lead its mission of advocating for the rights and well-being of the Asian American community. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision of the organization, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, and leading fundraising efforts to ensure the financial health of the organization. This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in nonprofit management, program implementation, and fundraising, as well as the ability to work with and influence policymakers and public administrators. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing the organization's fiscal integrity, maintaining a strong Board of Directors, and serving as the chief spokesperson for the organization. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have at least 5-7 years' experience in a leadership role within a nonprofit organization or governmental agency, with a strong background in government budgeting, advocacy, and policymaking. The ideal candidate will have a transparent and high-integrity leadership style, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Experience in the New York area and a deep understanding of the local Asian community and its needs are highly valued. The role demands a leader who can operate in a fluid landscape, identify and address emerging issues, and ensure the organization's programs and services are of the highest quality.
