About the Role
The Company is in search of a visionary Executive Director to lead its organization, which is dedicated to supporting perinatal mental health and the emotional transition to parenthood. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the organization's vision and strategy, ensuring its continued success in perinatal support, and leading fundraising efforts for long-term sustainability. This role requires a strong, people-centered manager with a proven track record in nonprofit leadership, team building, and a deep understanding of the perinatal mental health landscape. The Executive Director will also be tasked with fostering a culture of collaborative decision-making, supporting wellness, and promoting the lived expertise and skills of all staff. Experience in anti-racist culture building and trauma-informed, culturally-responsive programming is essential. The ideal Executive Director for the company will be a seasoned and fearless fundraiser, capable of diversifying funding sources and building strategic partnerships. They should have a background in, or adjacent knowledge of, direct service, social work, education, or early childhood systems, with a preference for candidates who have lived experience with perinatal mental health or related systems. The role is full-time and remote, with a commitment to work-life balance, and the candidate should be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
