About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of ending domestic violence. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong commitment to racial and social justice, and a deep passion for shaping the future of the movement. This role involves driving the development of intersectional alliances, advocating for policies that prevent and reduce domestic violence, and providing technical assistance to a statewide network of domestic violence agencies. The ideal Executive Director will have a background in team and organizational leadership, experience in coalition work, and expertise in domestic violence programs, including prevention and intervention strategies. Financial and fundraising acumen, particularly at a scale of $5 million annually, is also a key qualification. The Executive Director will work in close partnership with the Board of Directors, staff, and other stakeholders, and must be adept at engaging with a complex set of partners. The position requires a candidate who is emotionally intelligent, relationship-oriented, and able to inspire and connect with a diverse membership. The role is pivotal in aligning prevention and intervention strategies to advance social change and in supporting the leadership of individuals from marginalized backgrounds. The Company is an equal-opportunity employer and is particularly interested in candidates who are committed to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
