About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for a non-profit dedicated to enhancing school safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's growth and sustainability, with a primary focus on fundraising. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to secure funding through a mix of grants, donor cultivation, and alternative revenue streams. The role also involves serving as the foundation's spokesperson, managing market acceptance, and overseeing the distribution of the safety technology solution to schools. Strategic leadership, program and impact growth, and collaboration with the Board of Directors are key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Executive Director role should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s or relevant certifications a plus) and a proven track record in SaaS, software, or tech-oriented business settings, particularly in startup or high-growth environments. Experience in nonprofit leadership, with a strong background in fundraising and donor engagement, is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong public speaking and communication skills, the ability to work flexibly within a fractional role, and a history of serving as an organization's representative. The role requires a strategic leader who can drive the mission of the foundation, ensure the technology solution meets the needs of schools and safety standards, and make a measurable impact on school safety.
