About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its School of Nursing. The successful candidate will serve as the Head of the School, overseeing its academic programs, research activities, and service functions. This leadership role involves managing the budget and personnel, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum, and maintaining the School's accreditation standards. The Executive Director will also be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, both on-campus and online, and for building and sustaining collaborative relationships with local healthcare institutions. The position requires a commitment to the values of the School and the ability to represent it to a wide range of stakeholders. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the School of Nursing must have an earned doctorate and a graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. They should be eligible to hold an unencumbered RN license with the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and have a strong record of leadership and scholarship, consistent with a tenured associate professor or higher. A terminal degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred, as is a record of securing external funding and experience with national accreditation agencies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in curriculum development, evaluation, and a proven track record in mentoring, coaching, and faculty development. The role demands a leader with a deep commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, and the ability to create and maintain harmonious working relationships within the academic community.
