Job Description for the Executive Office Director

The Executive Office Director is a pivotal role in managing a neurodiverse school, focused on fostering an inclusive environment while enhancing community awareness and fundraising efforts. The Director will create and implement strategic business plans, oversee daily operations, improve organizational performance, and cultivate a positive organizational culture. This role also involves supervising department heads, reporting on financial performance, and directing the overall strategy of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business and financial strategies aligned with the school’s mission.
  • Enhance community awareness by engaging with local organizations, families, and stakeholders to promote neurodiversity and inclusivity.
  • Create and execute fundraising initiatives to secure resources, ensuring the financial sustainability of the school.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of finance-related performance standards and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory best practices.
  • Provide strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage hiring, compliance, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Ensure effective communication within the organization and with external partners, showcasing the school’s values and achievements.
  • Oversee the preparation and signing of all legal documents related to the school's operations.
  • Remain accountable to the Board of Directors for all operational and strategic duties.
